NEWS

12/15/07 The new FD-M770 and 771 Dualrailleurs Guide are in stock and shipping.

12/01/07 The Dualrailleur Guide has been completely redesigned to use the new Shimano FD M770 and M771 derailleurs. Shimano new 770 is now lighter then last years 760 derailleur, for the hard core mountain bikers, this is good and bad new. They lightened and reduce the size of the cage, good for cross country, not so good for freeridings and downhill. The thinner gauge steal makes it more susceptible to bending, but on the upside the Dualrailleur Guide structure actually supports the cage making it much stronger and virtually impossible to bend.

The next week we tested the Dualrailleur at Whistler Blackcomb in BC for 4 days once again there were no complications or even one dropped chain and we hit all the runs A-line, Freightline, Original Sin, Clown Shoes, Bone Yard, D1, just to mention a few. No mater how big the drops or how rough the terrain the Dualrailleur performed flawlessly….

Dualrailleur Description

The Dualrailleur Guide enhances the function between the derailleur, chain, sprockets/gears, and the outside bash guard. As the chain travels into and through the guard it is funneled effortlessly to the selected sprocket. The surface area of the Dualrailleur is approximately 2.5 times greater on the inner plate, 3 times on the outer plate, and has 4 times more surface area on the bridge then a standard derailleur. This combination greatly enhancing the ability to control the chain and calm any chain whip before it comes in contact with the front sprocket. The guide is made of Polycarbonate with an inner plate of 6061 aluminum for strength allowing the chain to glide through the guide with no noticeable drag. Unlike previous guides that only allowed the use of one sprocket, the Dualrailleur Guide allows you to take full advantage of a dual ring chain configuration which enhances your ability to maneuver steeper terrain and promotes safety. Other dual ring systems on the market today only tension the chain on the bottom after the chain leaves the front sprockets. They do not guide the chain before the front sprockets where chain whip can cause the chain to jump between gears or derail completely. ORDER YOURS TODAY!!
